Happy 5th birthday AIS!

Last Thursday we celebrated the American International School's 5th birthday! Each year there is a HUGE cake to celebrate the birthday at each campus. I came into school Thursday morning to find this in the lobby...

It's the biggest cake I've ever seen!

Sonny was excited about it!...

The cutting of the cake started about 20 minutes
before the final bell rang...

4 people worked on cutting the cake...

in about 30 minutes, 200 people were served...

Quite the crowd for the celebration...

NEW BOOKS!! BIG NATE!!

I picked up two new books for our library while I was in the Kuala Lumpur airport over the Tet holiday break... 

These are two GREAT books (in my opinion)... that are similar to the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

The BIG NATE books are hilariously funny!

Singapore's National Library

While in Singapore over the Tet holiday break, I went to the National Library... it was a beautiful, HUGE library!

 

 

The escalator was decorated with great signs...

 

I found this one pretty funny...  :P

 

THEN, while in Kuala Lumpur, we had dinner at "The Library!"
